Short Biography:

Takuro Sato was born in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, on January 16, 1950. He received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics engineering from Niigata University, Niigata, Japan, in 1973 and 1994, respectively. He was with Research and Development Laboratories, Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, where he worked on PCM transmission equipment, mobile telephone and standardization of mobile data transmission and CDMA system for international standardization committee. He was a Professor in the Department of Information and Electronics Engineering, Niigata Institute of Technology in 1995. He was cooperated with the Industrial filed to promote the venture companies for WiFi LSI and systems. He is currently a Professor of Graduated School of Global Information Telecommunication and Studies in Waseda University in 2004. His current research are next generation mobile communication system and network, wireless communication algorism./ architecture, communication control and protocol and analog/digital LSI designs in engineering area and the management and the politics for info-social of wireless communication society. He is senior member of IEICE and senior member of IEEE.
